December Updates

December is flying by so quickly. We are so busy. We have been working on many crafts and special projects as well as getting ready for the Christmas Program. We are learning about the letter Kk this week. Kk is one of the harder letters to write so if you have a few minutes during this busy time help your child practice writing the letter Kk.
Please check your child's folder for more information about what to wear and details for the Christmas Party.

Fall Update

We have had a fun a busy week at school. We are learning about the letter Gg. We are also talking about Thanksgiving and Fall. Today we made turkeys and decorated them with leaves. We will be doing many crafts in the weeks to come in order to prepare for our Thanksgiving Feast and program. It is going to be a real treat. Next week we will be learning about the letter Hh and the sound that it makes. In addition to the things your child brings home everyday we also work on many skills orally. We are learning the days of the week, months of the year, counting, and the sounds that we hear at the beginning of a word. Ask your child to tell you about these things, they like to show off what they know.
I hope your child is enjoying all the fun things we get to do! We are really busy.
Please remember to send in your child's sweatshirt money and size soon so that we can place the order. White shirts go quickly this time of year.
We will be having show and tell Friday, so start looking for something that begins with the letter Hh, and don't forget to wear your t-shirt-Friday is t-shirt day.
Happy Birthdays to....Mia, Max and Bella...we are getting so big!
